Sara Jabel Masjid & Community Centre – A Lasting Impact

Sara Jabel is a small farming village in Northern Gambia. ARF had supported the community through development projects for several years before villagers approached us in 2021 with a request to build a masjid and community centre. With the support of generous UK donors, the project was completed successfully.

Today, the Sara Jabel Masjid:

Serves as a place of worship for multiple surrounding villages.
Provides religious and educational learning for children and adults.
Acts as a central space for community meetings and units.
