The school building consists of:

10 Days Teacher Training Program for 210 Teachers from 37 ARF Schools in Southern and Central Regions of Somalia was Concluded at Mogadishu University Campus.

The training was organized by African Relief Fund (ARF) in cooperation with the Faculty of Education of Mogadishu University.  During the training program, the participants were given lectures about education skills to upgrade their teaching skills.

The trainees were summered from 37 schools in the southern and central regions of the country.

Department of Education of African Relief Fund (ARF), in cooperation with the Faculty of Education of Mogadishu University, starts a Teacher Training Seminar for more than 200 teachers from different schools of ARF. 
 

Taking into account the importance of the teaching staff in the development of education, the training seminar primarily focussed the development of the skill of the teaching staff.

Most of these schools are working in rent buildings, so that the construction of schools is in the priority of list of ARF education development strategy in Somalia.

As the school year is drawing to close, all grade 9 and grade 12 students of ARF schools in Somalia set today 27/05/2006 for their graduation exams. The exams will continue until 1st June 2006. The results of the exams will be provided to the students at the end of the second week June 2006.

Considering the importance of education in social development & peace building, ARF actively involves in the improvement of education sector. 

 

ARF achieved a tangible production of services and support in education sector. ARF has about 60 schools in hand most of them located in remote areas of Somalia that comprises in any level of studies of up to secondary education, in nation wide. 

 

ARF manage 17824 pupils in any age of learners and 746 pay and unpaid teaching, administrative and other supporting staff in nation wide. 

 

Since most of the schools are working in rent buildings, ARF emphases the construction of new schools or rehabilitation of formal destroyed schools of the country. 

 

To broad the opportunity to access education and help orphanage and poor students, ARF rises scholarship funds for orphan and poor student. 

 

 ARF continually upgrades teaching skills and quality of the syllabus in the school by providing training and workshop to the teachers.
